Our Shared Services team, which includes People Operations, Finance, IT and Security, and Contracts, provides internal services and support across Ad Hoc. Shared Services works to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall quality of services provided to the company's various teams and business units. By streamlining and standardizing support, Shared Services allows teams and business units to focus on their core business functions and achieve greater effectiveness internally and with the agencies they support.
Primary Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition Specialist serves as an emerging individual contributor within a team, expanding your leadership, guidance and mentoring skills. With the support and guidance of leadership, you will be responsible for managing general recruiting and sourcing functions, supporting business staffing requirements, and ensuring adherence to organizational processes and policies. You will interact with stakeholders and utilize influential skills to drive improvements and consensus in support of meeting department service level agreements. Primary expectations of a Talent Acquisition Specialist include:
Supports daily, scrum recruiting meetings and hiring manager meetings
Directly supports Business Unit/ Shared Services hiring managers and assigned Recruiting Lead
Responsible for tracking activities, and proactively communicates with candidates as defined in the team's service level agreement
Monitors the pipeline, tracks sources in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and ensures data integrity
Assistis in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and prepares meeting related documents
Supports the development and maintenance of files and procedures
Manages candidates throughout the entire hiring process
Assists in building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified and diverse talent
Conducting recruiting project work as assigned
Ability to navigate conflict, escalate when issues arise, and provide recommendations for mitigation
Strives to achieve time-to-hire and time-to-fill metrics
Serves as a partner to Hiring Managers, with an understanding of vacancy requirements in order to efficiently source candidates
Exhibits organizational skills in order to ensure that hiring processes are followed and executed
Ability to multitask and accommodate adjustments
Understands government contracting staffing rules and regulations
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor�s degree and a minimum of 5+ years of experience
Relevant years of experience may be substituted for education
Proficient with supporting recruiting efforts
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with government contracting requirements (specifically labor category mapping)

In support of various state and city equal pay transparency laws, Ad Hoc job descriptions feature the starting range we reasonably expect to pay to candidates who would join our team with little to no need for training on the responsibilities we've outlined above. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and responsibility. The range of starting pay for this role is $75,000 - $100,000. Our recruiters will be happy to answer any questions you may have, and we look forward to learning more about your salary requirements.
