Summary:
Experienced and safety-conscious Crane Operator with a strong background in operating overhead, gantry, and mobile cranes within fast-paced manufacturing environments. Skilled in lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials with precision, adhering strictly to safety protocols and load capacity regulations. Committed to maintaining equipment, reducing downtime, and ensuring workplace safety. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a track record of supporting cross-functional teams to meet production goals and deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Safety of fellow associates when blades are being moved with the cranes.
- In charge of blade movement for all molds, spar caps, webs, root slicer, root pre-fabs to skin molds.
- Coordinating with team leader and shift leader for all crane related moves for shear web gantry.
- Work with transition to ensure there are openings for de-molded blades from molding.
Training of other team members to run equipment as backups.
Skills/Experience:
- Crane Certification or ability to get crane certification.
- Demonstrated leadership skills & mentoring skills.
- Enthusiasm and the ability to motivate others.
- Ability to maintain safe work environment.
- Ability to make decisions on the flow of blades and components and able to do what is needed.
