Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with project setup, layout, and site preparation
- Perform layout using Trimble equipment
- Operate equipment as qualified (Backhoe, Track Hoe, Mini Excavator, Loader)
- Check pad and footing elevations following excavation
- Verify survey layout to ensure building squareness
- Set anchor bolts, form footings, set masonry racks, and install embed plates per specifications
- Assist with concrete placement, vibrating, and finishing operations
- Perform caisson drilling and rigging of caisson rebar cages (certified riggers preferred)
- Maintain jobsite cleanliness and organization
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Support skilled trades and supervision as needed
Requirements
- Previous construction or general labor experience preferred
- Foundation experience is a strong advantage
- Ability to read and follow basic instructions, drawings, and layout information
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, bending, climbing, etc.)
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions, including overtime and Saturdays when required
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Must be onsite and ready to work 15 minutes before scheduled start time
