GENERAL SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Poly Line Coordinator to oversee and guide our Poly Line operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, demonstrates strong leadership, and is committed to safety, quality, and team development. Under direct supervision, you’ll play a key role in driving productivity, maintaining a safe workplace, and ensuring smooth shift transitions. You’ll be responsible for leading a team, coordinating daily operations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (ALL):
  • Provide support to Leadership in promoting and implementing all Safety policies, programs, and 5s initiatives to ensure the health and safety of all employees
  • Addresses and follows up on safety concerns
  • Emergency Response Leadership
  • Report any employee or process concerns to Leadership as applicable.
  • Prepare and verify applicable record keeping (reports, forms, audits, logs etc.)
  • Assist in training and transition of new or transferred employees.
  • Promote, support, participate and enforce all company policies, procedures, and programs fully, fairly, and consistently
  • Works with on-shift maintenance techs to ensure call-out expectations adhered to for upsets, major DT, and emergencies
  • Ensure work cell output meets required quality standards
  • Provides direction on operating role assignments to crew, matching skill sets with required roles
  • Manages staffing issues, attendance disruptions, and scheduling of personnel
  • Communicate with Leadership to cover absences and coordinate employee reassignment as necessary
  • Provides daily review and coaching before departing to ensure reporting is complete and accurate
  • Leads shift change communications to oncoming crew (i.e. Pass Down meetings)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
REQUIRED SKILL & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have the flexibility to switch to first shift schedule during non-peak season.
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production setting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Ability to adapt to changing production demands and maintain momentum
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows, and email communication.
  • Familiarity with SAP for label creation, BOM verification, and production reporting
  • Active forklift license or ability to obtain certification
  • Ability to lift >50 lbs. on occasions, walk, stand, push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, climb, carry, etc.
