ROLE OVERVIEW
The Research Analyst plays a crucial role in data collection from Financial Institutions. This role primarily leverages websites, phone calls, and emails to gather data concerning pricing, fees, rates, and other pertinent data sets. Precision in data entry and validation are pivotal. Mastery of the tasks, responsibilities, and assignments is essential for consideration for further advancement within the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Data Collection and Management
- Source, structure, and validate data from Banks and Credit Unions using various methods such as websites, phone calls, and emails.
- Ensure accurate entry of this data into the application and update expired or outdated information for relevance and precision.
2. Research and Initiatives
- Conduct ongoing research into additional banking products, features, rates, and fees.
- Explore new financial institutions to support the NOVA application.
3. Team Collaboration and Autonomy
- Complete tasks by setting deadlines and showcasing adaptability by assisting teammates when needed.
- Independent Accountability and Initiative.
- Effective collaboration with team.
4. Documentation and Storage
- Save related collateral and resources in applicable folders, ensuring traceability and systematic retrieval for future reference.
5. Data Updates and Research
- Refresh outdated data, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Conduct ongoing research into new financial institutions to support the NOVA application.
MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
Experience
- 2+ years of relevant team-oriented, problem solving, and collaborative roles
Professional Skills
- Proficient in research sourcing, verifying and interpreting data
- Attention to detail and precision in data entry and validation
- Clear, effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Customer service oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Computer and Software Skills
- MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and challenges

- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to stand/sit at a computer for 8 hours or more per day
- Ability to work at main office, home, on the road, or in a satellite location
