Asset Coordinator/ Inventory Management 

 Job Location: Johnson Space Center, TX

 Position Type: Full-Time/Regular 

Essential Functions:

  • Track usage, inventory, and maintain assets for the Human Health and Performance Directorate
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Service Now experience is a plus
  • Provide support and ability to work with various procurement offices and personnel to procure new hardware and software assets through various purchasing methods
  • Obtaining approvals for specifications of HW and SW new to the environment, requests quotes from vendors and using NASA tools for service/support/maintenance level agreements and software licensing

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in inventory-control. 
  • Must be able to multi-task assignments to produce the most efficient results.  
  • A professional demeanor must be maintained in both verbal and written communications between co-workers and internal and external customers. 
  • Experience in an IT Environment is preferred but not necessary.  

 

Equipment Use: Personal Computer, printer, telephone 

SW Skills: Office products; word, excel and outlook
