As a Talent Advisor supporting the Branch Network, you will partner closely with hiring leaders to deliver thoughtful, consultative recruiting solutions for complex and high-impact roles across the firm. You will shape hiring strategies that align to business priorities, strengthen our workforce, and create an inclusive, engaging experience for candidates and stakeholders throughout the hiring lifecycle.

Key Outcomes:
Strategic Talent Advisor
- Design and execute data-informed recruiting strategies aligned to business needs and workforce plans.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders by providing market insights, talent recommendations, and clear guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Lead effective intake and consultation conversations that clarify role requirements, success outcomes, and hiring priorities.
- Apply knowledge of enterprise and functional strategies to influence recruiting approaches and outcomes.
Pipeline & Sourcing Management
- Build and maintain diverse, high-quality talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Leverage a variety of sourcing channels, tools, and outreach strategies to engage prospective candidates.
- Assess labor market trends, competitive talent dynamics, and employment brand perception to inform recruiting strategies.
Candidate Assessment & Selection
- Apply structured, skills-based assessment methods to evaluate candidates for role-relevant capabilities.
- Partner with interview teams to promote consistent, fair, and effective interviewing practices.
- Prepare interview guides, facilitate interview debriefs, and synthesize feedback into clear, actionable summaries.
- Support inclusive hiring outcomes by ensuring candidate slates reflect a broad range of skills, experiences, and perspectives.
Relationship & Stakeholder Experience
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across Talent Acquisition, HR, and the business.
- Deliver a positive, transparent, and respectful experience for candidates and hiring partners.
- Communicate clearly and confidently in one-on-one and small group settings, adapting to diverse audiences.
- Model a collaborative “One Schwab” approach by sharing best practices and seeking input from others.
Business Acumen & Leadership
- Apply critical thinking and business understanding to guide decision-making and manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrate awareness of risk considerations and support compliant, consistent hiring practices.
- Take initiative to continuously build expertise in talent acquisition and the industries supported.

To ensure we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo”, this role has specific qualifications candidates should have for success:
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate and/or retained search environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute recruiting strategies for complex or hard-to-fill roles.
- Experience conducting skills-based and competency-based candidate assessments.
- Strong stakeholder consultation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize insights and recommendations clearly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting across multiple functions or business areas.
- Familiarity with workforce planning, talent market analysis, or employment branding concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
