Requirements

Minimum

  • 8 years applicable work experience in the A/E field, specializing in the Electrical discipline with a focus in commercial/facility design.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university. 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit platforms.
  • Thorough knowledge of required codes like the NEC.
  • Specialized certifications in discipline related systems. [ADA, LEED, etc.]
  • Licensed Professional with a good standing. 

Summary

The Electrical Discipline Specialist will act as the liaison between Management and Design Staff. The Discipline Specialist will collaborate with designers and train concepts to produce full sets of construction documents for commercial building projects. This position requires a strong understanding of REVIT to design and develop construction documents for our multiple types of projects. The ability to efficiently complete sophisticated prototypical design for multiple types of buildings and Clients with little to no supervision is strongly desired. The Discipline Specialist will lead quality assurance for the team. This position may require minimal travel.
