Description

Responsible for ensuring and managing the design and development of Client’s application solution as defined in the functional requirements.

Responsibilities:                 

• Develop UI and database schema based on design specifications
• Develop scripts including testing, debugging and documenting to implement customized business logic
• Develop custom report specifications and reports
• Develop and implement conversion processes from legacy applications
• Meet schedule and budget to satisfy established project goals

 

Requirements

• 3-5 years strong software application development
• Expert developer using several of the following: VB, VBScript, C++, C#, ASP.Net, Java, JavaScript
• Experience with Delphi helpful
• Proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Experience with development, implementation, and testing of multi-tier object/component-oriented applications
• Strong background implementing applications using relational databases such as: MS SQL 2000 and above, Oracle (8i, 9i, 10g),
• Experience developing triggers and stored procedures.
• Experience working with the following is a plus: Crystal Reports, Business Objects, COM, XML
• Understanding of Network topology
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Experience with legal applications is a plus.
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related equivalent

Work Environment:

• Anticipated Travel approximately 10% - 15%. (Dependent on Project)

Summary

The Software Developer will be part of a dynamic team that designs and implements state of the art systems used by legal departments and government agencies throughout the country.  This role will develop the code required to implement and support Bridgeway applications based on customer specifications. In addition, the developer will work with Technical Lead and Business Analyst to understand and implement functional requirements.  This position works collaboratively within the Professional Services team to successfully achieve customer specific milestones.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large scale development projects involving corporate and government organizations.
