Job Summary:



The Controller will direct regional accounting operations in accordance with company accounting policy. Serve as a business partner to the regional leadership and operational teams.



 



Supervisory Responsibilities:




  • Direct supervision of local branch office staff and remote supervision of regional branches



Duties/Responsibilities:




  • Analyze and understand key performance metrics and financial information, communicate performance regularly with operational leadership

  • Provide direct oversight and support of transactional accounting including invoicing, work orders, project costing, and expenses

  • Manage month end close process across regional branches in accordance with company close schedule

  • Comply with financial policies across regional branches, including GAAP, internal controls, revenue recognition and accruals. Assist in the implementation of new policies and procedures across the division.

  • Support CAO and CFO in monthly, quarterly business reviews

  • Support annual budgeting process

  • Support annual audit

  • All other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively manage and coordinate the accounting activities for multiple locations

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.



 



Education and Experience:




  • 10+ years of accounting experience in service and project-based businesses

  • Private equity experience a plus

  • Prior supervisory experience preferred

  • Accounting / Finance degree, CPA preferred

  • NetSuite experience



Travel Requirements



Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time



 



Physical Requirements:



Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
