Job Summary:

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School is looking for a Part-Time Evening Tutor to provide academic support to high school students enrolled in the Benfica Residential Academy. The Part-Time Evening Tutor will assist students in various subjects during evening hours Monday to Thursday in the Saint Leo University library in San Antonio, FL.


Responsibilities:

1. Supervise students to maintain order and discipline as they work independently.

2. Deliver tutoring sessions as needed across subject areas.

3. Aid students in enhancing their comprehension of specific subjects.

4. Offer feedback to students regarding progress and areas for enhancement.

5. Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student development.


Qualifications:

1. Previous tutoring or teaching experience is advantageous.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Capable of explaining complex concepts in an understandable manner.

4. Demonstrated patience and a dedication to supporting students academically.


Schedule:

This part-time position requires availability in the evening hours, Monday through Thursday, to accommodate the students' schedules at the residential soccer academy. The tutoring sessions will take place at the university library during specified times.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a Level II Background Screening.
