Job Description

Summary  

The Sweden Data & Artificial Intelligence Practice Lead is responsible for driving the practices growth and solidifying Avanade’s position as a leading strategic partner. Reporting to the Regional Practices Lead and aligning with the global practice, this role ensures Azure Data, Analytics services and Artificial Intelligence technical solution excellence and delivery integrity. The Sweden Data & Artificial Intelligence Lead will oversee technical execution, cultivate team skills in current and emerging Microsoft technologies, and implement a comprehensive talent strategy to support business needs.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the global Data & Artificial Intelligence practices strategy within the region. Set and communicate regional practice priorities.
  • Lead region practices in line with agreed plans and KPIs.
  • Provide feedback loop upwards to drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for inorganic growth. Own and extend client relationships, becoming a client advisor with tangible contributions to the region and clients, helping broaden the regions’ client network, identify opportunities for growth, and deliver an exceptional client experience.

  • Strategic Relationships and Innovation
  • Cultivate and sustain a close working relationship with local Microsoft Product Engineering Groups and relevant Accenture leaders; and with on-, near, and offshore delivery centers positioning us as the partner of choice and important source of product feature feedback.
  • Establish and maintain close relationships with key regional ecosystem partners to facilitate collaboration in solutioning and delivery.
  • Stay informed of client feedback, emerging trends, and innovations, providing ideas to global for new opportunities for practice-relevant solutions to maintain competitive edge. Foster and incubate innovations locally. Help establish and support innovative strategies to lower our cost to serve based on market demands.

  • Collaborate with region client teams to customize GTM motions and develop technical solutions for clients. Harvest best-in-class local solutioning assets and best practices and provide to global.
  • Hold local accountability for shaping practice-specific technical solutions, providing oversight on all deals to maintain solution integrity. Address delivery quality escalations and ensure delivery best practices are being solutioned and delivered. Provide thought leadership relevant to the practice, enhancing our impact in the market.
  • Ensure the regional practice has sufficient capacity to support client teams from pre-sales assets, to solutioning, to delivery of practice-related solutions.

  • Contribute to and execute the global growth program within the practice for critical skills, including certifications, to keep employees in all sourcing options (on-, near-, & offshore) at the forefront of current and emerging Microsoft technologies. Leverage global job families, skills, & project roles to deliver consistent practice solutions.
  • In alignment with the global practice and region client teams, define a holistic regional talent that includes skills, headcount, and location across all sourcing options to meet client demand, support the I&D agenda, and develop a future-ready workforce.
  • Own accountability for regional practice market utilization and chargeability, ensuring targets are met or exceeded. Collaborate to address any staffing challenges that arise.
  • Execute local programs to drive employee engagement, retention, and well-being, cultivating a highly skilled and motivated workforce within the regional practice.
  • Communicate career pathways, support leadership development, and own succession planning for the regional practice. Drive employees to broaden of skills, secure promotions, and encourage experience in diverse roles. Own talent and performance management processes for assigned practice members. Includes accountability for leading Talent Discussions, understanding talent pipeline, and making pay and promotion decisions in collaboration with HR to ensure consistent standards and reward structures are used.

Skills and experiences

  • Proven experience leading teams at the regional level, with a focus on delivering results, growing skills, fostering culture, and EVP.
  • Strong understanding of Analytics Services, Azure Data and AI, ensuring technical excellence and solution integrity across the region.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet regional client needs.
  • Experience working within a matrix, aligning regional goals with global strategies while addressing local market needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to capitalize on growth opportunities, ensuring the practice remains competitive and responsive to market trends.
  • Strong delivery skills and experience delivering complex projects.
  • Significant relevant consulting experience designing, selling, and leading client engagements with Azure Data Solutions, Artificial Intelligence adoption and integration, containerization techniques and automation deployment.
