Position Overview:
Maintains control of all inventory items received, picked, stocked, and shipped
Essential Functions:
- Monitor inventory levels to determine level of safety stock and provide notification to supervisor or manager
- Maintain supplies shelving, chemical cabinets, and racking
- Chemical management to include replenishment, pick and FIFO
- Complete Daily Cycle Count tasks; create count sheets and audit discrepancies
- Material logistics between multiple locations; delivery and pick-up
- Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment including international and hazmat
- Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons
- Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled container
- Resolve inventory and work order discrepancies
Job Specifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Hazmat and International Shipping experience preferred
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines
- Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation
- Must be proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Proficient with ERP/MRP Systems
