Community Outreach & Growth Coordinator

Location: Lake Charles, LA
Type: Part-time (approximately 20 hours per week)

Access Medical Group operates urgent care and primary care clinics focused on fast, friendly, affordable healthcare for our community. We’re growing quickly and looking for someone who can build real relationships in the community and help drive patient volume across our locations.

Role Overview

This is a people-facing, growth-focused role. Your job is to get Access Medical Group more visible, more connected, and more trusted in the community.

You will spend most of your time meeting people, building partnerships, visiting businesses, organizing events, and identifying high-value referral sources. This is not a desk marketing job and not a social media or website role.

We are looking for someone energetic, outgoing, and comfortable representing the brand in person.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with local businesses, schools, gyms, churches, and organizations
  • Identify and develop high-value referral sources
  • Visit employers and introduce our services
  • Plan and attend community events, health fairs, and local gatherings
  • Create creative outreach ideas to increase awareness and patient volume
  • Follow up with referral partners to maintain strong relationships
  • Track outreach activities and results
  • Collaborate with internal team and social media manager on campaign ideas

What Success Looks Like

  • Increased walk-in patient volume
  • New employer and organizational partnerships
  • Consistent referral sources sending patients
  • Strong community presence and brand recognition

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, business development, or community outreach is required

  • Outgoing, professional, and comfortable meeting new people daily
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Reliable transportation
  • Basic computer and reporting skills
