POSITION: Special Education Teacher � Onamia Academy School

JOB DESCRIPTION: Onamia Public Schools - Onamia Academy School is seeking a dynamic and highly energetic Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualified candidates should have a strong background in implementing researched-based instructional strategies, equity and diversity, and meeting the needs of unique learners. Successful candidates should also be creative and have both good communication and problem solving skills. 

Onamia Academy School is a care and treatment setting placed in a residential treatment facility for young males and is a public school as part of the Onamia School District. The Onamia School District is located along the south shore of beautiful Lake Mille Lacs and is one and a half hours north of Minneapolis on Highway 169.

The Onamia School District qualifies for student loan reduction/forgiveness programs.
