Job Summary:

We seek an individual that is excited to learn and contribute to our land development team that designs residential and commercial projects, including production of civil plan sets in support of sports facilities, land subdivisions, site grading, drainage, utilities, and other related civil engineering work.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Project Managers and Engineers to prepare detailed drawings in compliance with company and/or jurisdictional standards. Drawings will include grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, water and other site development elements.
  • Prepare all facets of civil/site design documents.
  • Prepare site planning, grading plans, and utility layouts in Civil 3D.
  • Proficiency in working with multiple design manuals and standards for local jurisdictions.
  • Complete utility, roadway, and basic storm facility designs with general layout provided.
  • Write statements of qualifications or prepare project proposals, define a scope of work, develop a project budget, and attend meetings with clients and other stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • A.S. or B.S. in AutoCAD Design, Civil Engineering, ore related technical field

 

Required Qualifications (skills/experience/certifications):

  • 1+ Years CADD Technician experience (or demonstrated equivalent through academic/course work)
  • Basic understanding of civil engineering fundamentals
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Detail oriented and self-driven
  • Ability to work and collaborate well in a team environment

 

Preferred Qualifications (skills/experience/certifications):

  • Strong knowledge and/or basic experience of Civil 3D
  • AutoCAD Certificate

 

Compensation: $24.00 - $31.25 per hour
