Summary
The position of Material Handler I maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on pick lists; maintains in-process inventory in production areas by delivering and opening materials and supplies. Position includes basic RF equipment knowledge and usage.

Daily Responsibilities % of Job 90%
- Perform general physical activities in warehouse: loading, unloading, sorting and moving products and materials manually and using material handling equipment.
- Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments.
- Fill and complete orders.
- Follow detailed pick and pack instructions to assemble kits.
- Prepare labels for kitting production areas.
- Understand and follow FAI (First Article Inspection) program instructions.
- Ships and receives items, pulls orders and verifies type and quantity of ordered items.
- Prepares documentation and performs data entry.
- Maintain shipping and receiving documentation.
- Prepares cartons/boxes/pallets for shipping.
- Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Maintain housekeeping standards at all times for a clean, conducive work environment.
- Meet and/or exceed daily KPI metrics
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Warehouse Efficiencies % of Job 5%
- Builds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communications at all levels.
