FACILITY: Bayfront Convention Center
PAY RATE: $11.00–$28.00 per hour
(Hourly rate varies based on business volume; no less than $11/hour guaranteed)

If you enjoy working in a vibrant, fast-paced environment and take pride in offering warm, professional service, we want you on our Banquet team at the Bayfront Convention Center. As a Banquet Server, you’ll be part of the team that helps bring weddings, galas, conferences, and other special events to life—one plate, smile, and celebration at a time.

What You’ll Do

• Provide exceptional service to guests in banquet and catering settings
• Set up and break down event spaces, including linens, tableware, and place settings
• Deliver food and beverages with attention to timing and presentation
• Follow all Pennsylvania state laws and BCC policies regarding food and beverage service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
• Communicate professionally with guests, teammates, and kitchen staff
• Handle guest requests and respond to questions with a helpful, can-do attitude
• Ensure service runs smoothly, whether you’re part of a team or working solo
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English (spoken and written)
• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organization
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Alcohol awareness certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Flexible availability—must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
