Food Service Supervisor


Location: Mercy Hospital – A Member of Catholic Health

 

We’re looking for a reliable and service-oriented Food Service Supervisor to oversee the dietary team with meal service, food preparation, and sanitation—ensuring our patients, staff, and visitors receive nourishing meals in a clean and welcoming environment.

As a Food Service Supervisor, you’ll lead daily operations to ensure patients, staff, and visitors enjoy meals that are both delicious and nutritious.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise room service and retail staff for timely, accurate meal delivery
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and documentation standards
  • Train and support team members; assist with evaluations
  • Conduct daily rounds to coach staff and spot improvement opportunities
  • Handle service recovery and maintain cash controls
  • Support departmental performance improvement initiatives

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Food Service Manager Certification (preferred)
  • Experience in food service leadership (preferred)
