Assistant Director of Admissions

 

Help Students Take the First Step Toward Their Future

We’re looking for a driven and ethical admissions leader to support prospective students through the enrollment process while guiding and developing a small team. In this role, you’ll help students make informed decisions about their education and ensure a smooth, supportive admissions experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Connect with prospective students through phone and in-person interviews
  • Guide students through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment
  • Clearly explain program options, expectations, and the student experience
  • Address questions and concerns to help students feel confident in their decision
  • Ensure all admissions practices follow ethical and regulatory standards
  • Partner with Financial Aid to ensure students understand funding options (without advising on aid specifics)
  • Assist students with applications and ensure all required documentation is completed
  • Provide campus tours and ensure students receive all required disclosures
  • Maintain accurate and timely records throughout the admissions process
  • Follow up on inquiries to provide excellent customer service

Team Leadership & Support

  • Supervise and support a team of admissions representatives
  • Conduct coaching, peer reviews, and second interviews
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding new team members
  • Step in to lead the team in the absence of the Director of Admissions
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree equal to or higher than the level offered at the campus (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in admissions, sales, or a related student-facing role
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using computers and standard office systems
