- Ensure vertical and horizontal alignment of curriculum across grade levels and content areas
- Oversee instructional best practices and promote research-based teaching strategies

- Prior leadership experience at the school or district level preferred
- Strong knowledge of curriculum design, assessment, and instructional best practices
- Experience with data analysis and school improvement planning
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of curriculum design, instructional strategies, and assessment practices

Position Summary
The Director of Curriculum and Instruction provides strategic and visionary leadership and oversight for all Pre-K through 12th grade curriculum, instruction, and assessment, including the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive, high-quality instructional program.
This position ensures the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a rigorous, aligned instructional program that supports high levels of student achievement for all learners. The Director leads key academic initiatives, including Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), gifted education, ESOL services, and professional learning, while promoting equitable and effective instructional practices across the district.
