Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with 4–7 years of experience in the design of pumping stations and water infrastructure projects.

The candidate will be responsible for mechanical design activities related to water supply, sewerage, firefighting, irrigation pumping stations, and utility infrastructure projects. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical design and calculations for water supply, sewerage, firefighting, irrigation, and stormwater pumping stations.
  • Prepare pump sizing calculations, pipe sizing, equipment layouts, valve selection, and hydraulic calculations for pumping systems.
  • Assist in the design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, chilled water networks, and utility infrastructure systems.
  • Develop detailed mechanical design drawings, schematics, BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, electrical, structural, BIM, and process engineering teams.
  • Conduct hydraulic analysis and support surge analysis for pumping systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Ensure all designs comply with UAE regulations, international standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and coordination meetings with clients and stakeholders.
  • Review vendor submittals, technical proposals, and material specifications for project compliance.
  • Support project delivery activities including technical reporting, site coordination, and engineering documentation.
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure timely completion of assigned design tasks.

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Civil/ Equivalaent 

Experience

4–7 years of experience in mechanical design of pumping stations and water/wastewater infrastructure projects.

Skillsets

  • Familiarity with HIS standards
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit MEP
  • Knowledge in Bentley WaterGEMS, and Hammer software.
