GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Senior Program Director, the Late Night Coordinator will provide leadership, management, and on-site supervision of the Late Night program and staff/volunteers to provide the highest quality programming within a safe environment.

Education/Experience Requirements:

- Relevant department experience and certifications
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to routinely perform the following physical activities; climb, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach with hands, sit, stand, walk and perform moderate physical activity for extended periods of time, lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, have finger dexterity, grasp, perform repetitive motions, talk, hear and have visual acuity
- Must be able to lead and coach teams and individuals and have the ability to communicate effectively; both orally and in writing

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Late Night Coordinator is responsible for implementing Association policies and procedures by leading and directing all operations as listed below.
Staff development:
- Assist the Branch Director in recruitment and hiring of Late Night staff and volunteers.
- Train, schedule, and supervise all staff and volunteers.
- Promote a member-focused culture among staff based on relationship building, active listening and service above self.
- Ensure all Association policies and procedures are adhered to, including emergency and safety procedures.
- Assist in the timely completion of performance evaluations of all staff and ensure that payroll and personnel information is accurate and submitted on a timely basis.
- Assist in the enforcement of established program area policies related to the environment, staff attire, and equipment.
- Assist the Branch Director in any staff disciplinary actions needed.
Fiscal Management:
- Assist in the management of the Late Night budget.
- Continually look for ways to incorporate more efficient operating practices.
Program Operations:
- Provide communication that relates to Late Night and summer food to all branch staff, program participants, parents, and inquiries.
- Recruit participants for each program constantly, throughout the year.
- Develop and implement systems to support quality programming and outcomes.
- Keep accurate records of all program participation for weekly report to leadership.
- Build relationships with students, parents and community contacts that lead to program retention and positive program promotion.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe facility that lends itself to great customer service and follows all risk management procedures and policies.
- Work the front desk under membership for 10 hours/week.
- Child Abuse Prevention - Responsible for adhering to boundary policies, attends required training, follows procedures for high-risk activities and supervision, reports suspicious behaviors and policy violations, and complies with mandated reporting.
- Be visible to staff and members with a focus on teens.
Strong Community Campaign/Financial Management:
- Engage, encourage and lead program staff in their participation, recruitment of other donors and volunteers in the campaign.
- Actively participate in Association activities and events when asked.
General:

Understands that if any suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and/or policy violations on the part of employees, volunteers, members or participants are observed or reported, it is their personal responsibility to immediately report them to their direct supervisor.
