Description

WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2014, Swickard Auto Group has grown to 36 dealerships, 50 brands, and 5 states — and we're not slowing down. Automotive News consistently ranks us among the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country.

We're a hospitality company that happens to sell cars. Our mission is to bring the standard of care you'd expect at a Ritz-Carlton or Wynn Las Vegas to every dealership we operate — and eliminate the anxiety, opacity, and frustration that has defined car buying for too long.

THE ROLE

The Automotive Business Manager oversees accounting and financial operations across multiple dealerships — ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and a finance function built for scale. This role partners with dealership and corporate leadership to turn financial data into clear, actionable intelligence that drives performance and supports strategic growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Prepare and review timely financial statements — income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reporting

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations

• Implement and maintain internal controls and standardized accounting processes

• Leverage financial systems and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights to leadership

• Analyze financial data to surface trends, opportunities, and risks

• Build dashboards, reporting tools, and automated processes that improve financial visibility

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial processes scale with the business

• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing accounting team

WHAT YOU BRING

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 1+ year of experience in accounting, financial management, and operational finance

• Strong understanding of GAAP and automotive industry accounting standards

• Ability to translate financial data into clear recommendations for business leaders

• Experience with accounting systems, reporting platforms, and data tools

• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred

• 3+ years of accounting experience

BENEFITS & PERKS

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance

• 401(k)

• Paid time off and holidays

• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts

• Pet insurance

• Mental health program and benefits
