We are looking for a dedicated AI Engineer who will play a significant role in shaping and optimizing our chatbot. You will play a key role in developing intelligent data management solutions and advanced Conversational AI systems. These challenges await you:

• Design, implement, and manage document embedding storage solutions
• Develop and optimize processes for efficient information extraction from documents, including handling complex nested structures, to create 
• and populate databases for our advanced chatbot applications
• Contribute to the development and deployment of RAG-systems, leveraging tools like LangChain to orchestrate complex AI workflows and ensure accurate, contextually relevant responses
• Explore, implement, and contribute to multi-agent frameworks for building sophisticated AI applications
• Utilize Databricks and Microsoft AI Foundry for data processing, model training, deployment and AI workflows
• Employ MLflow for experiment tracking, model management, and reproducible machine learning development

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code primarily in Python and SQL

   

The position can start from June 2026.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a comparable field of study
• Good programming skills in Python, including experience with relevant AI/ML libraries
• Experience in SQL for effective database management
• Experience with RAG systems, including concepts such as embedding generation, vector databases, and retrieval capabilities
• Experience with LangChain for building LLM-powered applications
• Experience with MLflow for managing the ML lifecycle
• Knowledge of multi-agent frameworks and their application in developing autonomous and collaborative AI systems
• Knowledge of document embedding techniques and information retrieval methods
• Experience or a good theoretical understanding of the Databricks platform and Microsoft AI Foundry for data engineering and ML is a plus
• Proactive and curious mindset
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• English is mandatory, German is a plus
