Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
Eligibility: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a four-year university, technical school, or community college with a degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or a related field.

CEMCO is excited to welcome interns to our 2025 Summer Internship Program, offering hands-on experience at our City of Industry facility. This program provides students and recent graduates with the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals, tackling real-world technical challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Interns will gain valuable experience in machine maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and process improvement, helping to support CEMCO’s operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Maintenance team to learn the fundamentals of repairing and maintaining industrial equipment.
- Assist with preventative maintenance (PM) activities and routine inspections.
- Support ongoing projects, including the installation of an accumulator system.
- Help troubleshoot equipment issues under supervision.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following all safety procedures.
- Assist with general maintenance tasks across the plant as needed.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the Maintenance team.
- Prepare weekly progress updates, culminating in a final presentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a program in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in hands-on mechanical work and manufacturing environments.
- Basic understanding of tools, equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute to a team.
- Strong work ethic and attention to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Recruitment Timeline
Recruitment for the 2026 Summer Internship Program will begin in late April. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.
