We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Cook to join our culinary team. This full-time, every-weekend position is ideal for someone who enjoys a consistent schedule and will take pride in preparing quality meals for our Veterans, their spouses, and Gold Star parents.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
  • Ensure meals are appetizing, nutritious, and served on time
  • Work closely with dietary staff to accommodate special diets and resident preferences
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas

Requirements

  • Cooking experience in a healthcare, institutional, or commercial kitchen preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable, organized, and respectful demeanor
  • Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
  • Basic computer skills
