Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Business Development Coordinator will be responsible for managing opportunity search tools, optimizing search parameters, managing partner relationships, developing new partner relationships, managing the CRM tool, and presenting capability overviews to potential partners.
The Business Development Coordinator will assist with identifying new business opportunities, analyzing market trends, evaluating commercial and Federal Request for Proposals for alignment with company capabilities.  Position will be responsible for presenting potential leads to the management team for Go/No Go decisions and will assist the Proposal Coordinator with organizing responses and related documentation. This role will report directly to the General Manager.

This role can be remote/virtual.

Duties/Responsibilities:
•    Gain an in-depth understanding of Managed Business Solutions and EcoData’s current services offerings, capabilities, and industry environment
•    Leverage opportunity search tools to identify and evaluate new business leads to determine their potential and alignment with company goals.
•    Organize and lead weekly opportunity review meetings to present potential opportunities to the team
•    Maintain and update opportunity pipeline in CRM tool (FreshSales)
•    Assist in the response to RFIs/RFPs, including research, qualification assessment, and resume review
•    Establish and maintain a robust library of company information and marketing materials that can be leveraged to quickly respond to RFIs, RFPs, Sources Sought and other requests for company core capabilities.  This will consist of a resume library, project descriptions, case studies, proposal graphics, and standard proposal language.
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical departments, to gather necessary information for proposals.
•    Ability to understand business requirements and present potential offerings to customers
•    Ability to understand technical concepts and create content for service offerings
•    Assist with the management of partner relationships by attending monthly status meetings and maintaining partner portals (For Example: Amazon Web Services, Esri, Carahsoft) to support co-selling
•    Attend industry webinars and events to increase industry knowledge and develop relationships
•    Other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities: 
•    Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and SharePoint
•    Ability to multi-task
•    Strong written and verbal communications skills
•    Ability to consolidate and organize information and documentation from multiple sources.
•    Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
•    Ability to deliver quality work that consistently meets requirements and deadlines.
•    Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and communicate effectively to others
•    High level of attention to detail

Education and Experience:
•    Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
