Start Your Career with the L.E.A.D. Trainee Program
Just graduated with a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field? Ready to turn your education into hands-on experience? APR’s L.E.A.D. Trainee Program is a two-year rotational leadership program designed to build the foundation for a long-term career in operations and management.

Whether you studied supply chain, marketing, finance, or general business, you’ll have the chance to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to real business challenges.

What is L.E.A.D.?

  • Learn: Get a deep understanding of how our business operates from the ground up.

  • Execute: Gain hands-on experience across departments.

  • Adapt: Take on real-world challenges and develop creative solutions.

  • Develop: Receive mentorship, feedback, and ongoing professional development to grow into a leadership role.

What to Expect

This role may be based at any of our 43 locations, with final placement determined by business needs and, when possible, candidate preference.

Throughout the program, you’ll rotate through multiple roles to gain experience in key business functions, such as:

  • Customer Service & Operations: Learn how we create loyal customers by making service a top priority.

  • Leadership Development: Join our Young Leaders group and participate in leadership training, special projects, and industry events.

  • Sales & Marketing: Partner with our sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and drive growth at your location.

  • Branch Management Preparation: Work side-by-side with experienced leaders to learn how to manage a successful branch.

The Goal
At the end of the program, you’ll be ready to step into a Location Leader position. We tailor the pace and path of the program to each participant based on their strengths, interests, and career goals. Flexibility in location is key, as your final assignment will be at one of our many branches.
