We are looking for a Middle / Senior Learning Designer to join the Plata team.
This role sits at the intersection of corporate learning, product thinking, and business impact. It’s not about building courses strictly based on a predefined brief — it’s about working with uncertainty, defining learning problems, and designing solutions that truly move business metrics.
We value professionals who are genuinely interested in corporate L&D, comfortable working with data and hypotheses, and capable of finding solutions even when information is incomplete or evolving.
Challenges that await you:
- Design and develop corporate learning solutions aligned with business and product needs.
- Define learning goals, outcomes, and success metrics, ensuring training initiatives drive measurable impact.
- Work with learning and business metrics, evaluating training effectiveness and performance indicators.
- Apply strong learning design principles to create scalable and effective learning experiences.
- Approach learning initiatives with a product mindset, answering:
“Why are we doing this and what outcome do we expect?” - Formulate, test, and iterate learning hypotheses based on data and stakeholder input.
- Make informed decisions under incomplete or contradictory data, balancing speed and quality.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify skill gaps and performance opportunities.
- Contribute to the evolution of corporate learning systems in a fast-growing environment.
What makes you a great fit:
- Proven experience in B2B or corporate learning (mandatory).
- Experience working as a Methodologist, Instructional Designer, or Learning Experience Designer at Middle or Senior level.
- Ideally, experience across both EdTech and corporate environments.
- Strong understanding of learning design methodologies and frameworks.
- Experience working with learning effectiveness metrics and business impact indicators.
- Product mindset with the ability to connect learning initiatives to business outcomes.
- Experience working with hypothesis-driven learning design (formulation, validation, iteration).
- Strong systems thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and make decisions with limited data.
- Strong working proficiency in English (daily collaboration with international teams).
Nice to Have:
- Spanish proficiency.
- Experience working with fast-growing products or scaling learning systems.
- Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional business stakeholders.
- Clear understanding of how learning initiatives impact business metrics (beyond training delivery).
