J.B.A. Automotive is a family‑owned dealership group proudly serving the Glen Burnie community since 1976 and we're looking for an Internet Automotive Sales Representative to join our team. The Internet Automotive Sales Representative is responsible for managing online customer inquiries, setting qualified sales appointments, and delivering a professional, customer‑friendly experience. This role is ideal for a motivated communicator who enjoys working with customers, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and wants additional earnings tied to performance.
What You’ll Do
- Respond promptly to internet, phone, and email inquiries to engage potential customers.
- Set and confirm customer appointments for vehicle showings.
- Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicles.
- Develop strong product knowledge, including vehicle features, trims, options, and technology.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals.
- Answer inbound phone calls professionally and assist customers with questions.
- Maintain accurate contact notes and appointment information in the CRM system.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth hand‑off for scheduled appointments.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable handling multiple customer inquiries
- Ability to work a five‑day, in‑office schedule that includes Saturdays (one Saturday off per month; weekday off provided)
- Basic computer skills and comfort using email, CRM systems, and phone tools
- Professional, friendly demeanor and customer‑first mindset
- Previous experience in automotive sales or internet sales is required
Preferred
- Experience with Focus or similar dealership software
- Strong multitasking and time‑management skills
Pay & Benefits
Compensation
- Weekly base salary of $400–$600 ($20,800–$31,200 annually)
- Monthly bonus paid based on appointment showings and individual pay plan
