Staffing Manager
Location: Ridge, NY
Hours: Monday through Friday
6:00 AM start time
Some weekend requirements

New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS), a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking a Staffing Manager to join our well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation.
Our practice manages a freestanding outpatient Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy, and Research departments. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, mission-driven organization focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
In This Role, You Will:
- Create and maintain schedules for all clinical and non-clinical employees, including:
- Clinical Staff (RN, LPN, Chemo Techs, Medical Assistants – Floor & Lab)
- Administrative Staff (Receptionists)
- Review, approve, and deny all clinical and non-clinical PTO requests
- Receive and manage practice call-outs during standard hours, after hours, and weekends
- Serve as the liaison for clinical, non-clinical, and accounting communication between staff and executives
- Process payroll, including:
- Timekeeping
- PTO entry
- Reviewing timecards for hourly employees
- Managing overtime control
- Resolving time punch errors
- Recommend new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations to maintain staffing needs and workforce productivity
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to attendance and staffing
- Counsel employees regarding attendance, punctuality, conduct, and workplace expectations
- Collaborate with Regional Directors and Chief Officers to support staffing needs across the practice
- Conduct daily reviews of patient volumes to ensure proper staffing levels for optimal patient care
We Require:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate professionally across all department levels
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and strong organizational skills
Salary:
Up to $85,000 annually based on experience
