Role Overview

We are looking for a Freight Executive to own end-to-end freight operations across global shipments. This is a hands-on logistics role focused on execution, shipment coordination, and operational control across ocean freight, air freight, and road transport.

You’ll work closely with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, optimise freight costs, and maintain full shipment visibility across international supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end shipment execution across ocean, air, and road freight (import & export).

Track shipments using internal freight tracking systems, ensuring real-time visibility.

Proactively manage delays, exceptions, and supply chain disruptions.

Ensure accuracy of shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, B/L, AWB, customs paperwork).

Work with 3PLs, warehouses, and internal teams to align delivery schedules.

Monitor freight spend, validate invoices, and control logistics costs.

Analyse freight performance, transit times, and carrier reliability.

Drive continuous improvement across logistics processes, tracking, and reporting.

Qualifications

Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations.

Strong knowledge of international shipping (Incoterms, customs processes, import/export).

Experience managing ocean freight, air freight, and/or road transport.

Hands-on experience working with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL providers.

Familiarity with shipping documentation (B/L, AWB, Commercial Invoices, Packing lists).

Experience using ERP or TMS systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, freight platforms).

Strong attention to detail across shipment tracking, documentation, and timelines.

Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced, operational environment.

Proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong stakeholder communication skills.

Experience in FMCG, retail, or high-volume supply chains preferred.
