Job Description

CAPITAL Ford of Charlotte is seeking a skilled and versatile Automotive Mobile Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site automotive maintenance and repair services to customers. The Mobile Technician should have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a mobile service unit.

  Automotive Mobile Technician Responsibilities: 

  • Travel to customer locations to perform on-site automotive maintenance and repair services
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, on various vehicle makes and models
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, on various vehicle makes and models
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues
  • Perform repairs and replacements of faulty or worn-out components, such as belts, hoses, brakes, and exhaust systems
  • Explain repair recommendations, provide estimates, and answer any customer inquiries
  • Manage and maintain an inventory of necessary tools, parts, and equipment
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance standards
  • All other duties assigned  

 Automotive Mobile Technician Requirements:  

  • Experience as an Automotive Technician, with a focus on mobile services preferred 
  • ASE certification or relevant technical certifications are preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must pass pre-employment background screenings
