Salary: $75,000 – $85,000

Senior Strategists on the Texting team lead full-scale texting programs for progressive candidates, organizations, and nonprofits. This role is for experienced text fundraising practitioners who are ready to fully own programs end-to-end – driving content strategy, leading multi-layered acquisition plans, and building the kind of client relationships that make programs great. They are deeply plugged into the political landscape, bring strong creative instincts to fundraising copy, and know how to turn performance data into smarter strategy.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead broadcast and P2P texting programs across assigned clients
- Provide feedback and support to junior staff on shared accounts
- Draft copy across all send types, including broadcast, in-house P2P, and P2P list rentals, and develop content calendars for client programs
- Lead content brainstorms for assigned accounts; identify opportunities to capitalize on news moments and rapid response
- Independently execute rapid response campaigns from ideation through production and delivery
- Build multi-layered media plans for acquisition programs spanning P2P, list rentals, appends, and bought numbers; pitch and present plans to clients
- Manage external vendors independently across all acquisition programs; hold vendors accountable to client-specific performance benchmarks
- Develop comprehensive list growth strategies, spanning both paid and organic channels; proactively identify client-facing organic growth opportunities
- Maintain near-flawless escrow across all assigned accounts; manage invoicing end-to-end without prompting
- Produce client-facing spend and fundraising projections independently
- Pull, compile, analyze, and synthesize performance metrics into client reports
- Manage and interface with clients directly, including Members of Congress and candidates for federal office
- Contribute to team success: develop training materials, participate in sales pitches as needed, assist in onboarding, and begin to mentor junior staff through collaboration on shared accounts
- Oversee interns as needed
