The Trade & Channel Compliance Analyst plays a key role in supporting compliance across Lenovo’s global partner ecosystem, including distributors, resellers, and other business partners. This position focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating regulatory, financial, and reputational risks related to channel operations and cross border trade activities. The role partners closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Channel Management teams in a fast paced, international environment.
This position reports to Global Trade Compliance within the Global Supply Chain organization and involves regular interaction with global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct pre sales due diligence reviews to identify and mitigate compliance risks prior to order approval or shipment
Perform post sales reviews and investigations to detect, assess, and remediate potential compliance violations
Monitor adherence to applicable laws, internal policies, contractual terms, and compliance standards across global partner channels
Identify and investigate irregular transactions, including unauthorized resellers, product diversion, and gray market activity
Coordinate and execute compliance reviews of distributors, resellers, and other channel partners
Escalate high risk transactions and compliance concerns in line with internal governance and escalation frameworks
Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls
Maintain accurate compliance documentation and prepare reporting for audits, metrics tracking, and regulatory inquiries
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field
2–5 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management, audit, or channel operations
Demonstrated experience with trade compliance, distribution models, or partner ecosystems
Proven ability to investigate compliance issues, conduct reviews, or support audits
Strong analytical, problem solving, and data interpretation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage cross functionally
Fluent English language skills (mandatory); additional languages are an advantage
Ability to operate effectively in a global, fast paced, and cross cultural environment
