Reporting to the Controller, the FP&A Manager is responsible for providing strategic advice, support, and services to internal business partners as well as external stakeholders and service providers. The role involves developing and implementing effective policies, procedures, and controls related to financial management, accounting processes in accordance with GAAP, cash management, financial and strategic planning, tax compliance, and corporate reporting.
This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence 3x per week at our office in São Paulo.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Leading budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning processes aligned with business strategy.
Translating operational drivers into financial plans and developing scenario analyses to support decision-making.
Monitoring monthly close activities and analyzing financial performance versus budget and prior periods.
Identifying variances, trends, and root causes, particularly across costs, productivity, and margins.
Preparing and presenting management reports, KPIs, and dashboards with clear business insights.
Partnering with Operations and Commercial teams to improve performance, challenge assumptions, and support strategic initiatives.
Driving continuous improvements in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting within an operational environment.
Ability to translate complex operational data into actionable financial insights.
Proven analytical skills with experience in variance analysis, scenario planning, and performance monitoring.
Experience with monthly close processes and alignment with accounting/controlling teams.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to senior stakeholders.
Business partnering mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of financial policies, corporate reporting standards, and continuous improvement practices.
Advanced English and Spanish.
