REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a minimum of 3 year’s of experience with set up and processing of injection mold presses

Good communication skills –written & oral

Must be able to safely work around molding machines

Must be able to work independently

Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude

Must be able to read, write & speak English

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible to debug & analyze auxiliary equipment and automation equipment.

Debug/correct material, mold, process, press, automation, and auxiliary equipment problems

Effectively adjust molding processes ensuring all documentation and ISO procedures are strictly adhered to.

Effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.

Performs necessary preventative maintenance on molds & machines

Start-up molds and set in process parameters

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to hear machine alarms

Good mobility, energy level & ability to routinely lift 50 pounds

Requires good visual acuity and the ability to detect visual changes in plastic

Must be willing and able to operate a forklift

Able to climb ladders up to 6 feet

Physical strength to perform ratcheting motion to torque settings

Good mobility for high physical activity including but not limited to reaching, standing, stooping, squatting, & crawling to access machine areas
