Position Summary Department: LMH Inpatient Rehab Services - PT Status: Pool/Per-Diem/PRN Title: Rehab Services Aid Scheduling Needs: Saturday and Sunday (8-10 hour shifts), start time: 7:30am 1 major and 1 minor holiday per year (may include a weekend shift surrounding the holiday) Perferred to help intermittently during the week Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital is a new 124-bed acute-care hospital – with room to grow to 240 beds, located in Seminole County, Florida. Our programs encompass both inpatient and outpatient care The inpatient Acute Care Therapy offers unit-based specialized therapists for Oncology/Lymphedema, Neurological Conditions, Stroke, Orthopedics, Limb Loss, Multiple Traumas, and more! Outpatient services are treated at our outpatient clinic located in Longwood, FL Position Summary Under the general direction of the assigned rehabilitation supervisor, under the direct supervision of staff therapists, assists in routine daily treatments, patient transporting and maintenance tasks Responsibilities Essential Functions • Under the general direction of the assigned rehabilitation supervisor, under the direct supervision of staff therapists, assists in routine daily treatments, patient transporting and maintenance tasks. • Maintains the clinic and office in a clean and well-organized fashion. • Assists in in-coming supplies and equipment. • Assists in the inventory of supplies, and prepares orders on a monthly basis. • Answers the phone and takes messages, photocopies material, files and performs general office duties and other duties as directed by the team leader. • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Qualifications Education/Training High school diploma or equivalent. Licensure/Certification Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
