Job Summary

Execute and produce analyses, graphs, reports and customized responses to request for services. Prepares assigned reports, studies, and analyses of moderate level of difficulty. Applies analytic techniques and methods to produce statistically valid results. Must be able to understand request for information and identify needs, design and execute appropriate analyses, and produce deliverables in a timely manner. Must be able to search public and proprietary databases and information sources, draw appropriate conclusions and recommend solutions. Develops creative, innovative and effective approaches to solve moderately complex problems. Provides analysis of and support for various operations and processes for PNY Transmission Projects. Maintains a current understanding of required subject matter, context and application; fulfills responsibilities with a high level of integrity and professionalism. May lead a team and assist with all phases of Project Management for assignments of moderate complexity. May develop a business case, forecast and plan resource requirements associated with project outages and ROW management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, plan, collect, analyze work for field verification and other initiatives to draw appropriate conclusions and recommend solutions.
  • Promotes cross functional teamwork; may provide guidance to other team members.
  • Analyze data, outage requests, source of record databases, mapping systems, for tracking and analyses results.
  • Works independently to address a range of standard and non-standard situations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Suite and SAP as tools to source data, create reports, solve moderately complex problems.
  • Interprets customer, internal and external stakeholder needs, assesses requirements and identifies solutions to non-standard requests.
  • Prepare, communicate, present reports as needed for outage planning and ROW Management associated with PNY Transmission project portfolio.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: BS/BA Degree; Requires a bachelor's degree in a related analytic discipline including but not limited to Liberal Arts, Social Science, Computer or other Science or Business
  • Requires 5 years of experience in data management and performing analyses.
  • Must be able to understand direction and apply personal efforts effectively.
  • Need strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and perform highly varied computer-based support tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge iTOA or other OMS, GIS or Arc Map beneficial.
  • Experience in a project coordination or other high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
  • Ability to travel for meetings and project coordination within NY State to NYSEG/RGE owned facilities.
