Substitute School Nurse

As a Substitute School Nurse, you contribute to this mission by providing assistance to the well-being of students. You will work as part of a team that serves 8,000 students at 18 campuses across Helena. Starting pay is $140 per day.
 

• Promote the health, well-being and academic achievement of all students by performing assessment of health disorders and providing treatment and/or appropriate medical intervention.
• Provide support for student educational opportunities through health education, health promotion, disease prevention, and case management of health conditions which will minimize absenteeism and create a climate of well being for the school community.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Professional Registered Nurse
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Valid Montana Nurse License
• C.P.R. certification

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Registered Nurse with at least one year of nursing experience

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Registered Nurse
