Compensation:

  1. Salary: $110,000-$115,000 based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic direction and leadership to the nursing department.
  2. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure high performance and compliance with care standards.
  3. Oversee recruitment, retention, and training of nursing personnel.
  4. Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
  5. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality resident care.
  6. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  8. Ensure optimal patient care outcomes through evidence-based practices.
  9. Address and resolve patient or family concerns promptly and compassionately.
  10. Manage departmental budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation.
  11. Participate in facility leadership meetings and contribute to overall operational goals.
  12. Serve as a liaison between administration, staff, residents, and families.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  2. Current Registered Nurse (RN) certification in the state of MD
  3. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  4. Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
  6. In-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards.
