Law Clerk

Location: Remote

Schedule:

  • Summer 2026: Full-time

  • Academic Year (2026–2027): Part-time (12–15 hours per week)


About the Role

Keplr Vision is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our Corporate Legal Department. This role offers a unique opportunity for a law student to gain meaningful, hands-on experience across multiple areas of law while working with a collaborative, business-focused legal team.

You’ll support a national optometry management services organization operating in 35 states, providing exposure to real-world legal issues in corporate, health care, employment, and contract law. The position begins as a full-time summer role and transitions into a part-time position during the academic year, offering continuity, flexibility, and professional growth.


What You’ll Do

  • Conduct legal research on corporate, health care, employment, and contract law matters

  • Review, analyze, and summarize contracts and other legal documents

  • Assist with organizing and maintaining electronic legal files and databases

  • Support attorneys with a variety of legal and administrative projects as needed

  • Gain insight into how an in-house legal team partners with a growing national organization


What We’re Looking For

Education

  • Currently enrolled in law school

  • Strong preference for students completing their 2L year in Spring 2026

Legal Foundation

  • Completion of at least one contracts course

  • Working knowledge of core contract principles

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook

  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint is a plus

Professional Skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

  • Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills

  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
