    Vikan Middle School, a 27J School, is seeking a highly motivated and student-centered Special Education Generalist to join our dedicated team of educators. Vikan Middle School is a traditional middle school with a strong emphasis on restorative practices, academic excellence, and inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive.     This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity for an educator who is passionate about supporting diverse learners, building inclusive systems of support, and ensuring all students have access to meaningful and rigorous learning experiences.

    About the Role

    Support Diverse Learners
    Provide specialized instruction and interventions to students with disabilities, ensuring access to grade-level standards and individualized supports.

    Develop and Implement IEPs
    Collaborate with families, teachers, and service providers to design, monitor, and implement individualized education plans that support student growth and success.

    Partner in Inclusive Practices
    Work closely with general education teachers to co-plan, co-teach, and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs within inclusive classroom settings.

    Monitor Progress and Advocate for Students
    Use data to track student growth, adjust supports, and advocate for services and strategies that help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

    1. A valid Colorado Department of Education Teaching License - Special Education Generalist.
    2. Colorado Department of Education "In Field" by CDE endorsement or qualifications to teach the posted subject area.
