Day to day responsibilities of the Sales Manager include, but are not limited, to the following;

• Assist in managing new vehicle inventory a maximum 60 – day supply
• Work with the General Manager to set a monthly forecast for total new and used vehicle sales
• Assist General Manager with advertising and promotion to sell new and used vehicles
• Manage showroom activity; run the desk, appraise trades, desk deals
• Assist General Manager with 100% call backs of unsold ups
• Review unsold ups, traffic and follow up with salespeople daily. Share duties with other manager

Requirements

Skill necessary to be successful in this role include the following;

• Previous experience in the automotive industry
• Current valid driver's license with good driving history
• Professional appearance and ability to communicate professionally with customers, co-workers and management
• Strong background in sales
• Ability to set and achieve sales goals
• Strong organizational and time management skills
