Role Summary
Boswell is seeking a highly skilled Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive our recruitment efforts across our diverse engineering and professional services divisions. This role is essential for identifying and engaging the high-caliber professionals—specifically Professional Engineers (PEs) and Project Management Professionals (PMPs)—needed to support our expansive project portfolio. You will serve as the primary link between the firm’s strategic goals and the technical talent market, ensuring our Site/Civil, Power and Energy - Electric Utilities, Highway Design, Construction Management, Municipal, Environmental, and Water Services departments are staffed with industry leading experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and professional roles, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Specialized Sourcing: Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, industry networks, and professional associations, with a focus on PEs, PMPs, and technical specialists.
- Strategic Departmental Support: Collaborate closely with Department Heads in Site/Civil, Power and Energy - Electric Utilities, Highway Design, Construction Management, Municipal, Environmental, and Water Services to understand technical requirements and future pipeline needs.
- Candidate Evaluation: Conduct in-depth screenings to assess technical competency, project experience, and alignment with Boswell’s core values and professional standards.
- Employer Branding: Represent Boswell at career fairs, university events, and professional conferences to promote our century-long legacy and current innovation in the tri-state area.
- Market Intelligence: Stay current on A/E/C industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activity to provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Offer Management: Facilitate the offer and negotiation process, working with HR leadership to structure competitive offers informed by market data, internal equity, and long-term retention considerations.
- Candidate Experience: Deliver a high-quality, inclusive, and seamless end-to-end candidate experience that reflects and reinforces Boswell’s brand, culture, and professional standards.
- Process Improvement: Maintain and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and contribute to the continuous improvement of our talent acquisition workflows and onboarding transitions.
- Workforce Planning & Talent Pipeline Development: Partner with executive leadership and department heads to forecast hiring needs aligned with backlog, growth strategy, and project pipeline; build proactive talent pipelines for critical roles.
- Recruiting Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze key recruiting metrics (including time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, source effectiveness, and planned versus actual hires), delivering data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to optimize hiring performance.
Qualifications & Skills
Industry Expertise:
- Required: At least 5-7 years of recruitment experience, with a heavy focus on the A/E/C (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
- Required: Proven success in recruiting licensed Professional Engineers (PEs) and certified Project Management Professionals (PMPs).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the roles and skill sets within Civil Engineering, Water Resources, and Municipal Services.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate Boswell’s value proposition to high-level professional talent.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.

Pay Transparency: In accordance with local law, the range below is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Actual compensation will vary based on specific relevant experience, education, certifications, and other compensable factors.
- Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 / Year
