As our EuMEA Tax Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the EuMEA CFO and Group Tax Team in controlling and managing tax matters across the Europe, Middle East & Africa region.

Based in Budapest, you will coordinate corporate tax compliance, support tax reporting and tax effect accounting, and act as a trusted partner to the European Finance team while working closely with Global Tax colleagues in Australia.

How You’ll Help Us Grow

  • Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring accurate and timely filing
  • Prepare half-yearly and annual tax effect accounting entries for group reporting
  • Prepare tax disclosures for local statutory financial statements
  • Support continuous improvement of tax compliance processes and controls
  • Provide timely tax advice to the European business in collaboration with the Group Tax team
  • Monitor changes in European tax legislation and assess business impact
  • Assist with tax authority reviews and audits
  • Support tax cashflow management and forecasting
  • Prepare tax calculations for forecast and budget purposes
  • Assist with Country-by-Country reporting and transfer pricing documentation
  • Support indirect tax matters (VAT and duties) in collaboration with internal specialists

  • University or college degree in Finance, Accounting, or Tax
  • 5+ years of tax experience in a multinational company or advisory firm
  • Strong experience in corporate tax and tax effect accounting
  • Knowledge of VAT, international taxation, and transfer pricing
  • Fluent English
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Attention to detail combined with a solution-oriented mindset
  • A continuous improvement mindset
