This position is a temporary intern position, effective February 12, 2026 � May 15, 2026

SCOPE OF WORK: Under the direction of the CCSNH Regional College IT Director, assists in providing IT support services and in performing general IT functions. This position reports to the CCSNH Regional College IT Director for Manchester Community College and Nashua Community College.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Assists with walkup traffic for students, password resets, and fielding general technical questions under the guidance of onsite staff for the IT Helpdesk in Manchester Community College�s Library/Learning Commons.
  • Works with campus IT department staff to perform classroom computer updates as assigned.
  • Works with campus IT department staff to complete basic, daily, desktop support tasks for onsite faculty and staff.
  • Assists with student EasyLogin account claims, password and mfa resets, and Wi-Fi access
  • Responds to calls from classrooms that are experiencing technical difficulties
  • Works on the Apporto VDI (Virtual Desktop) application used by students and faculty at both MCC and NCC; improves documentation, creates tips and tricks to make virtual desktop life better, and provides support as needed with students, testing problems, etc.
  • Works with campus IT department staff to complete daily tasks and projects as needed.
  • Complies with all system, college, state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent credential.

Experience: No experience required.

License/Certification: None required.

RECOMMENDED WORK TRAITS: Knowledge of proper English usage and grammar. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to learn assigned administrative tasks readily and to adhere to prescribed departmental procedures. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and students. Possess professional phone and customer service skills. Must be willing to maintain an appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the college�s appointing authority.
