Position:  School Resource Officers

Location:  TBD

 

Qualifications:  

1.  High School Diploma or GED

2.  Georgia Peace Officer license from the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council

3.  Minimum of five years’ law enforcement experience

4.  Valid Georgia Driver’s License

5.  Knowledge of overall operations of police department

6.  Computer Literacy and extensive knowledge with multiple computer platforms, programs and systems

7.  Training and ability to subdue offenders including use of firearms and handcuffs

8.  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

 

Salary:  Salary determined by qualifications and years of experience

Start Date:  TBD
