Job Description:
Mint Dental is looking for a dedicated Full-time Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team. This role features a dynamic schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in pediatrics, with Thursdays dedicated to our orthodontic department. The successful candidate will support our dentists during clinical procedures, manage instrument sterilization, maintain precise patient records, and provide a welcoming, high-quality experience for our young patients and their families. 

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Ensure the operatory is clean and well-stocked.
  • Take and develop X-rays as needed.
  • Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Help manage patient flow and ensure a smooth experience for all patients.
  • Educate patients and parents about proper oral hygiene practices.
  • Support front office staff when needed.

Qualifications:
  • Dental Assistant certification.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Denticon software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work well with children and make them feel comfortable.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • CPR certification is a plus.
